The independent New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Commission has been established to oversee the disbursement of funds donated to the New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Appeal, and aims to assist in the recovery of those people and communities who have been affected by the disaster.
New Zealand Red Cross has released a report outlining its response in the first 100 days following February’s devastating Christchurch earthquake.
